Come on enery!!! Thats what the Brits will be cheering onSaturday night as Henry Cecils Twice Over goes for gold in the Dubai WorldCup.

Henry Cecil is quite simply the most respected and lovedtrainer in the UK!

Indeed when Twice Over won the Emirates Champion Stakes atNewmarket last October the massive crowd cheered Henry all the way back to thewinners enclosure and there wasnt a dry eye in the house!

The reason is that apart from being one of the most popularand successful trainers of all time he is also fighting cancer!

It was 4 years ago when cancer reared its ugly head and Iwould think its fair to say that at some times it has been a struggle but heseems to be winning that battle and is relishing 2011 because he has over 130horses in training at his beautiful Warren Place Stables high above Newmarket.

I was lucky enough to visit him there just a few weeks agoand as Twice Over nuzzled his head into his trainers arms a bit like a catsnuggling up to its owner you could see the empathy he has with his horses andjust why hes so brilliant!

Remember Twice Over is a 6 year old entire and this timenext year he will probably be enjoying himself as a stallion and 6 year oldentires are not normally the sort of horses who come over for a cuddle!

Yet although Twice Over may be a big softie at home out onthe racetrack he is a lethal flying thoroughbred with 10 wins and 9 placingsfrom 23 starts and you dont boast a record like that unless you are ruthlesswith his rivals!

It hasnt all been plain sailing and hes had so manyproblems with his feet that the blacksmith has had to make him some plasticshoes that he sticks on with glue!

They seem to make the difference and if you need any proofof that just look at his record and the near 2,000,000 hes won in prizemoney.

His jockey Tom Quelly is a young Irishman who has reallyblossomed since teaming up with Henry and together they have formed a verysuccessful partnership.

Indeed their was a lot to like about the way Twice Over wonhis prep race on Super Thursday when it was thought he would need the race soif can do that when hes not wound up imagine what he can on Saturday nightwhen hes 100%!!!

However he is taking on 13 of the best thoroughbreds in theworld including the big winner from Japan Transcend who looks a very bigdanger!

Bankable is a horse I am banking on in the Dubai Duty Freebut dont expect to see him until the winning line!

Bankable is a horse who likes to do things in his own timeand sometimes he doesnt start racing until halfway up the home straight butthen he picks up like an Emirates Jet!!

He doesnt want to give these top class rivals too much of astart and American raider Victory Cry could be hard to peg back but onceBankable starts flying he could beat them all!!

Very few trainers can boast a record like Californian DickMandella when they send their horses to Dubai.

Mandella who like Henry cecil likes to let his horses dothe talking has won over $8,000,000 in prize money with his American raiders toDubai and he has another great chance of adding to that tally with ChampPegasus in the Sheema Classic!
