Newmarket this morning-a bit on the chilly side!

The warm sunshine of the last week has gone but the actionout on the track in todays Craven Stakes and the other 7 races looks hot!

It seemed most of Dubai was at the races yesterday with HHSheikh Mohammed and HH Sheikh Hamdan in attendance and although they only cameaway with one winner they may fare better today!!!!!

Barefoot Lady was a game winner of the Nell Gwyn and herowners collared me on the way out and asked if they should supplement her forthe 1,000 guineas.

I was out at the beautiful Swynford Paddocks hotel lastnight hosting a sportsmans evening in aid of the Bob champion Cancer Trust.

Bob who celebrated the 30^th anniversary ofAldanitis great win in the Grand National at Aintree on Saturday where therace named after him raised100,000 was in good form last night and another8,000 was raised.

Since his win Bob champion has raised nearly 14,000,000 forhis Cancer Trust and I believe he should be Sir Bob Champion!

Its going to be a great weekends sport with the Greenhamat Newbury and the Scottish National up at Ayr where Ill be presenting Channel4 Racing.

On Friday night Im also heading over to Edinburgh to meetup with my eldest son Alex to watch my second son James or Jim as hes knownplay at Murrayfield against a strong Italian side.

Then on Sunday Im off racing at Stratford!
