QUESTIONING is a horse I like very much in theCambridgeshire today (3.50 Channel 4 Racing) and after yesterdays results I ameven more confident!

Last time out Questioning ran second in what looked a hotrace at Haydock and that was confirmed here at Newmarket yesterday when DarkPromise who finished 3^rd in that Haydock race behind Questioningcame out and won under top weight.

John Gosden has put the visor on today for the first timeand with William Buick on board the horse has got all the ticks in all theright boxes!

He is round about the 8-1 mark so we know he is stronglyfancied and while he is hopefully doing the business here at HQ up at Haydock 5minutes later my idea of thisyears Cesarawitch winner will hopefully be staking her claim for the secondleg of the Autumn Double!

LA VECCHIA SCUOLA is the horse I like very much for theCesarawitch( and the 3.55 at Haydock today) and she looks to be coming intoform just at the right time.

Last year she was beaten in a photo finish for theCesarawitch off a mark of 94- nowshes off a mark of 91- and she looked to be coming back into form with a fine3^rd at Ascot last time out!

Jim Goldie, her very astute trainer from Scotland, has laidher out for the race, and if she wins today the 20-1 available at the momentfor the Cesarawitch will go!

So hows about the Betfred Autumn Double?

Questioning today at 8-1 and La Vecchia Scuola in 2 weekstime ( and today!!) at 20-1.

That Autumn Double would come to 188-1 and you dont needa lot on at that price to get a very nice return on your investment!!

By the way its a beautiful morning here at Newmarket with aclear blue sky and a warm day forecast and that means despite the watering thegoing might be too fast for the ante post favourite Dare to Dance.

After talking to his trainer Jeremy Noseda on his mobileyesterday he left me in no doubt he was worried about the fast ground and wouldonly make his mind up after walking the course this morning.

Michael Prosser the clerk of the course here at Newmarket,is calling it good to firm so watch this space and although Dare to Dance couldstill take his chance I notice he is entered in a race at Ayr on Tuesday wherethe going will be more to his liking!

I know Sir Henry Cecils supporters will be lumping onTimepiece in the Sun Chariot Stakes and she could well win but dont discountthe French raider Saphresa who has won this race for the last 2 years!

Sir Henry will be in a confident mood after watching hisstar FRANKEL work on the watered gallop at 6.30 yesterday morning.

The unbeaten colt powered clear of his rivals and is oncourse for Champions Day at Ascot in 3 weeks time!
