An incredible Feeling
Its an incredible feeling sometimes watching your childrendo things but last night at Murrayfield I enjoyed that very special moment whenI witnessed my son James score one of the best tries Ive ever seen.
James who is 26 plays full back for Edinburgh and althoughthey were leading their great Scottish rivals Glasgow by 21 points to 17 when the clock passed the 80 minute mark -the ball was still in the play so the match continued and it was Glasgow whowere on the attack.
They were pummelling the Edinburgh defence switching theball one way then the other and it looked as if one of their team could go overany time to draw and then possibly win the match.
But then in the 83rd(!) minute there was aninterception by one of the Edinburgh players-it was my son James and heproceeded to run from one end of Murrayfield to the other to score the matchwinning try.
I was lucky enough to be watching the match with my twoother sons Alex and Hugo and it was one of those never to be forgotton momentswhen all three of us were jumping up and down watching James score anincredible try running the whole length of the pitch!
